Syndecrete - Live Beyond the Surface

We saw the Syndecrete products at the Eldorado Stone booth at K/BIS, but Syndecrete is not a new product or company - they have been around since 1983. What caught our attention was their "quiet greenness".Sustainable and environmentally friendly for the last 25 years, LEED certified Syndecrete uses recycled materials and natural minerals to create their trademark solid colors and aggregate mixtures. The material has so many uses for walls, floors, counter tops, outdoor surfaces and even fireplace hearths, it's a versatile material that quietly proclaims it's sustainability. Printed materials use 100% post consumer FSC certified fibers, soy inks, wind-generated electricity and their website has a simple "Sustainability" section with "10 reasons to go green" and information on LEED credits, recycling facts and information on fly ash and concrete. Not to mention the applications of their products are breathtaking!
